This wine presents a distinctive greenish hue and a refreshing profile. It features aromatic notes of green apples, grapefruit, asparagus, and damp green grass, complemented by a subtle hint of jasmine. This wine originates from the Croatian Danube wine region, specifically the Erdut vineyard, on the Aljmaš mountain position.
This wine is optimally paired with various dishes, including grilled fish such as sea bass and gilthead sea bream, salmon and tuna preparations, and seafood options such as mussels, oysters, and shellfish pasta. Additionally, this wine is well-suited for vegetable pasta, cold appetisers—including ham and cheese—raw vegetables, and curry dishes featuring fish or chicken. Furthermore, it harmonises effectively with dishes containing fresh or cooked tomatoes and pairs admirably with soft goat cheese.
Cheers!
