An elegant red wine of medium ruby colour, with a moderate density, finely balanced body, and a fruity flavour. In the glass, it reveals rich layers of ripe red fruit aromas — raspberry and blackberry — with subtle tertiary notes reminiscent of skin and forest mushrooms. It is recommended to serve in a Burgundy “balloon” glass. A very versatile wine for food pairing due to its balanced acidity and lower tannins.
Pinot Noir pairs beatufully well with duck, chicken, pork, veal, mushrooms and blue fish, and especially with creamy and soft cheeses such as Brie or Camembert.
Cheers!
