Graševina represents the predominant white grape variety in Croatia, particularly within the Danube wine region. This region encompasses the Erdut vineyards, which are situated in the Aljmaš mountain position.
This dry white wine is characterised by its fresh, harmonious profile and exceptional drinkability. It displays an elegant array of delicate fruity aromas, including notes of green apple, vineyard peach, citrus fruit, and floral undertones. The wine is presented in a greenish-yellow hue.
Graševina is excellently compatible with diverse meat dishes and preparations featuring freshwater and saltwater fish. It is an essential wine in Slavonian cuisine, complementing traditional offerings such as fish stew, shepherd's stew, and similar regional specialities.
Cheers!
