K55 Winery & Distillery, a sanctuary for connoisseurs of premium wines, is a testament to exclusivity. Formerly known as Janečić Winery, it was acquired by the Dugalić family in early 2023. This establishment, with its state-of-the-art equipment and advanced technology, is a result of the extensive expertise of its proprietor. K55 can produce 20,000 bottles of high-quality and premium wines annually, a privilege reserved for the discerning few. Our unwavering commitment to quality is evident in every step of our winemaking process, from grape cultivation to bottling, ensuring that each bottle of K55 wine is a true reflection of our dedication to excellence.
Location
Located in the picturesque northeastern Croatia, the K55 winery is nestled in the prosperous Podunavlje wine-growing subregion, renowned for its Erdut vineyards. The unique microclimate at the confluence of the Drava and Danube rivers, coupled with the fertile soil on the Aljmaš mountain plateau at 150 meters above sea level, provides ideal conditions for grape cultivation, making it a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts and tourists. Spanning 5 hectares, three of which are dedicated to vineyards, K55 crafts its enchanting wines with meticulous care. Each grape is hand-picked, capturing the essence of the land and its exceptional quality. This dedication to the craft is something to be genuinely appreciated, reflecting our passion for creating exceptional wines.
Winemaking
The varietal distribution comprises 70% white varieties, including Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer, and Yellow Muscat. The remaining 30% includes red varieties, specifically Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, and the Indigenous variety Kadarka.
The facility features a delightful tasting room where guests can enjoy a selection of exquisite wines. This unique experience allows visitors to savour local gastronomic specialities while enjoying wine.
